| Release beneficial insects on your plants. Best time to release is late evening or early morning. Beneficial insects include Lady Bugs, Praying Mantis, Onus Bugs, Green Lace-Wing, Persimilis Mites, Predatory Gall Midge, The Cucumenis Mite and Encaarsia Wasps. Beneficial insects can be purchased from local nurseries. (WARNING: If you plan on using beneficial insects, DO NOT use a broad-spectrum insecticide, as these products are too harsh on beneficial insects.) Note: If harmful insects become a problem, you may use a Neem Oil product, such as “Rose Defense” to regain control. |
